Jonas was CEO of Bremergy, an interdisciplinary team of >50 students which competes internationally in the Formula Student race car series. His passion is disruptive technology, strategic digital innovation & platform economics. After working at Industrial IoT startup Sensosurf, Jonas went to Silicon Valley and developed/iterated a framework for fast startup setup, which has now been applied to dozens of early stage innovations, both at startups and corporates. Currently he is in preparation of his own startup, tackling time-to-market for innovations.

Tonalli has most recently worked building and designing new businesses at Polymath Ventures in Colombia. Prior to Polymath, Tonalli worked as a consultant for Accenture in Europe and Asia, working primarily in the automotive industry. Throughout his career Tonalli has co-launched three startups and has advised many more. Tonalli studied International Logistics Management and Engineering at Jacobs University and is a current MBA student in the University of Cambridge.

Jan has founded & failed Solvertec GmbH, a Bremen-based startup to automate the debugging of digital chip designs. He has worked several years as Entrepreneurship Instructor at the Chair for Entrepreneurship (LEMEX), University of Bremen. Jan initiated bremen-startups.de and organizes startup events like Startup Weekend Bremen, FuckUp Night Bremen, Pitch Nights & Speed-Networkings to connect the startup community in Bremen & the Northwest region.

Having founded his own startup “Cookasa”, André has a lot of experience and knows of the ups and downs of an entrepreneur’s life. As he also organizes a variety of startup events in Bremen, he has a great network of inspiring founders and is always in search of new, innovative ideas.

Always a pioneer, Kent not only attended Jacobs University’s founding class of 2004, he recently started BRIGE GmbH, the innovative industry 4.0 supplier. BRIGE offers a unique and automatic solution to cleaning conveyor systems. Customers of the BRIGE industry 4.0, benchmark service include: surface technology companies, automotive suppliers and car manufacturers.

Momchil graduated with a degree in Computer Science from Jacobs University Bremen in 2013. He worked as a Software Engineer in Geo Analytics in Google Zurich from April 2014 to January 2016. Since he studied at Jacobs University, he dreamed of building something of his own, and eventually co-founded techOS GmbH with another JUB alumni and built a mobile game - Shnips. He rejoined Google in June 2017, and is currently working for the Universal App campaigns team.

Md Hasnain is currently doing his second Masters degree after having worked in the areas of logistics and supply chain management for several years. He has focused his studies on Software Design, programming, and Web application Interface design. Hasnain is excited to support the JSC teams, especially with his practical experience in app development.

Eiko Gerten studied Global Economics and Management at Jacobs University in 2014. During his studies he co-founded Asuum GmbH, a plattform for native advertisement powering Ad’s on websites such as GQ.de, bild.de or Vogue.Today, Eiko Gerten is founder & managing director of eHealth MediDate, a platform for privately paid medical treatments which owns more than 20 hospital locations in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

Nils has founded EVOLANGO, an early-stage incubator and consulting firm offering two global incubator programs. He is also the director of Startup Grind Bremen, the largest global community that connects VCs, investors, business-angels and startups from 115 countries all over the world. Nils is excited to share with his mentees his experience in co-founding a music label and a non-profit organization as well as learning from mistakes such as not listening to a startup’s target customers sufficiently.
