CONSTRUCTOR UNIVERSITY
The Young Entrepreneur Summit has been happening on the beautiful campus of Constructor University Bremen for more than 10 years now. Our green campus is home to 5 laboratories, 4 residential colleges, 4 research buildings, 4 sports halls, 2 sports fields, 1 library, about 1400 students and so much more. In 2010 a few young students of JUB decided to organize the first Startup Competition of our institution. Our university has been an incredible support since the beginning, although YES still is an entirely student-run event.
One of the main contributions from our university is the provision of the venue, where the magic of the actual event happens every year. It is located in the Campus Centre, which provides spacious and bright rooms for the final pitches, focused workshops, individual team preparations, and of course networking, eating, and having fun.

THE CITY OF BREMEN
Constructor University was founded in 2001 in the Hanseatic city of Bremen, located in Northern Germany. It is a city with a maritime atmosphere and 1,200 years of history. As about half a million people live in Bremen, it is easy to get around the city, which has a high quality of living. The historical market square is famous for Bremen’s mascots, the Town Musicians from the Brothers Grimm fairy tale, and is a UNESCO World Heritage site. There are many restaurants, pubs, clubs, museums, theaters, and other venues to explore in the city. Bremen is also the only German city that has an international airport located within a ten-minute car ride of the city center.

DIRECTIONS
You will probably arrive in the city at the airport or the central station. Our campus is located in the northern part of the city. In order to go from the airport to the central station (HBF), take the tram number 6 with direction “Universität” and leave the train at the station “Bremen Hauptbahnhof”. Afterwards, from the central station take train RS1 (usually in platform 5) in the direction of “Bremen-Vegesack” and leave the train at the station “Bremen-Schönebeck”.
Additionally, we will also provide a pick-up service to get you from wherever you arrive in Bremen to our campus.

ACCOMMODATION AND FOOD
Both food and accommodation will be provided free of charge throughout the event.
YES will provide accommodation for two members of each team that will be located in the city center of Bremen. Transport to and from Constructor University will be available throughout the course of the event.
The hotel will provide breakfast for both Saturday and Sunday morning. Lunch, dinner and snacks will be available to all those involved in the foyer of the International Resource Center on the Constructor University campus. All dietary requirements will be accommodated.
VISA REQUIREMENTS
If a visa is required by your home country to visit Bremen, all team members will receive an official invite letter from Constructor University.
REIMBURSEMENT DETAILS
50% of travel expenses will be reimbursed by the Young Entrepreneur Summit. Before arriving, each team will receive a reimbursement form that must be filled out and submitted by Saturday the 18th of March, along with proof of travel expenses. All reimbursements under the value of 1000 euros will be provided via Paypal, payments that exceed this amount will be transferred directly. Please ensure that all details are correct when submitting the form, as any inaccuracies will result in a delay in reimbursement.
