WELCOME TO JSC 2022!
The organizing team of the Jacobs Startup Competitions is looking forward to this year‘s edition of the event, happening on the 11th and 12th of March, and we are working already tirelessly towards it. But we, like everyone else, have to recognize that during this pandemic we will have to adapt our event to make it safe and also equally accessible for everyone who is involved in it. We, therefore, decided to conduct the event in a hybrid manner to maintain the safety of our audience and participants and it might even make us more inclusive.
Once registered, participants will have access to the Airmeet event link as well as a Discord server link to connect with other participants, organizers as well as investors.

ClipClap creates innovative adapters that convert any regular shoe into cycling shoes. These shoes are special and have a cleat adapter connecting to a clipless pedal. A fixed but detachable connection between the foot and the pedal improves cycling efficiency and the riding experience.
CyberFence is an AI-based detection software that fights against cyberbullying and creates a safe online environment for everyone. Unlike other softwares that only detects harmful content on one side CyberFence works on both sending and receiving sides, offering maximum protection for our users, and preventing cyberbullying before it actually happens
DECAP Research & Development Inc. is a biotechnology company based in Vancouver, Canada, and Tel Aviv/Jerusalem, Israel. DECAP has created a suite of devices that will prevent needlestick injuries and potentially save lives. DECAP devices reduce needlestick injury risk, improve workflow and ergonomic performance for healthcare, research, and veterinary workers performing injections on patients and animals.
ExoHeal combines robotics and neuroscience to offer affordable and 30% faster rehabilitation to paralysed patients. We achieve this by incorporating the concepts of neuroplasticity into a rehabilitation routine that utilizes a robotic exoskeleton hand to offer interactive and gamified therapy. Making recovery accessible for all.
Using Artificial Intelligence, we are discovering hidden interdisciplinary knowledge between different fields and assisting them in making breakthrough scientific discoveries. We created an MVP, received constructive feedback from customers, and are now raising funds for a go-to-market technology that will use a freemium, plus subscription-based business model for individual researchers, research institutes, and publishers.
GrowSmart is cultivating a mindset. A mentality that will alter customers' perceptions and habits regarding exotic products. Our concept entails cultivating high-valued spices first in Germany and then internationally. The idea is to provide consumers with the option of purchasing locally grown spices while remaining environmentally responsible.
Neuralfinity is developing Computational Magic, an AI API that essentially serves as "AI models as building blocks" for developers to use in their apps with cutting-edge AI models such as text summarization, speech recognition, and image classification. Customers can significantly reduce the cost and time to market for AI-powered apps in this manner.
ProtagonistPro is a SaaS-based project by TEDDict that aims to empower teens to become the main characters of their lives. We believe in developing an innovative mindset and Emotional Intelligence in our youth and designing one’s learning hence preparing students to work in a cooperative and evolving environment that appreciates each for their natural aspects.
Sportsharing-Network is a pre-existing athlete home-sharing website. This means that a cyclist, for example, can live directly in another cyclist's guest room or couch. They benefit from their hosts' sports infrastructure in this way. They can share equipment, get advice on training routes or facilities, and easily connect with the local sports community.
Squadron's innovative solution provides a comprehensive and cost-effective inspection of solar farms, using autonomous drones to collect data from the solar farm. Anomalies can thus be detected at an early stage, and the best use of green energy can be ensured. A cloud-based platform is then used to create a digital twin.
